Do you have an image of a typical computer scientist? Whatever you think now, it is most likely wrong in most parts, and rights in some parts. My relation to informatics is somewhat atyical, I think. The computer for me is a means of culture, a part of its anthropology, a means of expressing oneself, all in all, something that has a lot to do with humans. This perspective informs what I do as a computer scientist.
